I cannot say enough good things about Emily.
We were fortunate to have Emily join our family 3 days a week, after being diagnosed with postpartum depression this past winter.
She was incredible with both of our sons (5m and not quite 2 at the time), helped us reconfigure our day to day routine to better suit our family & schedule, meal prep, house work, she came along to any activity we needed her for, and much, much more.
She taught me so many things I still do & use daily, and gave me back the confidence to be a great mom & wife.

Before working with Emily, I was eating whatever I wanted or would try to fit what I thought my calorie goal should be. I often gave in to stress eating. I wanted to eat better so I could start to see the results of my hard work at the gym and so I could start to feel better overall. While working with Emily I felt supported and reassured that I wasn’t alone. I learned how to make better food choices and started to feel like “earning a donut” wasn’t what I wanted to do anymore. Even if you think you know what you should be eating, having the support and guidance for healthier options and combinations of food, calorie ranges and macro counts is a game changer. Learning to accept that we are human and are going to have good and bad days and accepting that we should enjoy food and that having a treat once in a while doesn’t have to set us back in our goals was key in helping me change my mindset about food and to start using it as fuel for my body. – JJ
Nutrition coaching was the ingredient that I needed to create a positive upgrade in my life. I am able to create a system that works for me, specifically me, and to be creative in exploring new recipes, new flavours and new experiences related to food and my overall health. I see consistent improvements in my athletic performance, my energy levels and my mentality. I never feel that I am missing out or depriving myself – instead I feel motivated to engage those around me in a healthy and happy lifestyle while continuing to see positive changes in myself. I am accountable for my progress, but always feel supported in my endeavors through nutrition coaching. – LS

Prior to Googling we had no idea what a doula did or why you would want one for your birth. However, after speaking to Emily in person we realized that the support a doula could offer for both partners pre & postpartum as well as during delivery was well worth the investment. Fast forward to the weeks leading up to our birth, Emily was always a text or phone call away and when it came time for labour she was right there to encourage and reassure us we could do it. Emily was a rock and made us feel safe and in control of what was happening during labour. We highly recommend a doula and would not imagine our birth without their support. Thank you again – JM & TM
